Why is it so important to learn about the creation?

That question came up a couple weeks ago in Sunday school and so I started thinking about it. Why is it so important? The creation of the Earth was not the beginning. We were Spirits living with Heavenly Father before the Earth was created. The creation of the Earth was the beginning of how Heavenly Father's plan started. He gave us a beautiful world so we could come and gain bodies and live a life. It is very important for us to know where we came from and how we got here. Everyone questions that sometime in his or her life. So Heavenly Father has given us the knowledge of where we came from and how we got here and it all started with Adam and Eve.

To learn where we came from, why we are here, and what we are supposed to do while we are here. I know for me the whole plan wouldn't make sense without knowing about the creation. Why do you ask?

It's so true this is important for us to know. We take this for granted because we've known it our whole lives, but some people aren't as lucky as us.

Beyond Grateful

I feel a strong urge to shout out my gratefulness to God. I keep thinking today of how blessed I am. I feel so incredibly blessed. I am so happy that I have the knowledge that God is watching over me and helps me find my way. I am so overjoyed that I know, without a single doubt, that He is there for me and everyone else. My crazy life has been in shambles for a long time and yesterday felt like it couldn't get much worse. But today I feel so calm and ready to face my future with optimism. The young women recite this scripture every Sunday along with their theme. I really like it so it's my new scripture to memorize.
